The BVLGARI Fall-Winter 2010 Leather Collection

The irrepressible Bvlgari Manila GM Mario Katigbak has the absolute knack for reinventing its boutique. This time around, to launch its “Fall-Winter 2010” Leather Collection, the Bvlgari jewelry boutique in Greenbelt 4 was elegantly transformed into a Bvlgari leather goods store, complete with silks and other exciting accessories. Decorated with windows in a garden theme, the latest “must-haves” for a total look were oh-so-exquisitely enticing, so much so that Best-Dressed power icon Consul Helen Ong had her heart set on a beautiful bronze evening bag which she got for herself. Bvlgari’s own shining jewel Mario, together with Bvlgari South Asian Operations External Relations Director Asha Langdown were on hand to greet the distinguished guests, which included Italian Ambassador Luca Fornari and his delightfully charming wife, Silvana.
The new collection featured the Chandra, the “couture-cut” bag that embodies the spirit of the entire collection. Also featured was “Rossellini”, from the designs of Isabella Rossellini. One of filmdom’s most captivating beauty, the actress collaborated with Bvlgari to create a bag that expresses her personality, vigor and glamour. Bvlgari describes the new fall-winter 2010 leather collection as a sensual convergence of day and night, of evocative color paths and soft metallic tones. A delectable menu was prepared by The Peninsula Manila, with champagne by Piper Heidsieck.
