Halloween is the best time for you and your babies to dress up without scaring the neighbors. But if you’re trick-or-treating, that probably is one of your goals.

Choosing your babies’ costumes is probably one thing that you always have to think about each year. You just can’t recycle the costumes your baby and even you have worn last Halloween just to complete the celebration.

So to help you with your costume-shopping woes, here are some cool costume ideas for your little ones.

(Little) Big Bird

Big Bird has always been popular with kids and he is a very popular costume. This costume will make your baby the coolest chick around. You don’t even have to stick with the color and choose to pink and white or any other color instead.

Little Mermaid

Take advantage of the fact that your infant isn't mobile with this elaborate mermaid get-up. Cover your bassinet stroller (or car seat) in blue fabric, cutting out holes for straps, to complete the under-the-sea look.

Create-a-Cape

Capes are already pretty cool, but they can get even cooler by personalizing them with your kid's initials, her favorite colors, and a design of her choice (Pick from lightning bolt, star, heart or crown.) Great for Halloween – or just any day your kid wants to fly.

Double Trouble

Got twins? They'll love twirling around in these girly pettiskirts while giving nod to the great Dr. Seuss. The key is to make the dresses match, but still adding a little different detail.

Animal-in-Barn

Problem: your little one still needs a stroller, and it's putting a serious crimp in your Halloween style. Solution: dress your little guy as farm animals and deck your stroller out as a barn.

There are many Halloween costumes to select, from superhero themes, animal and Disney costumes and even food themed ones. When it comes to costumes, your imagination is the limit. You don’t always have to make you or your babies look scary for Halloween.
