Pamela Anderson will start her 2011 being on the cover of Playboy.

This was earlier confirmed by the magazine’s founder Hugh Hefner’s tweet last Wednesday, also giving a hint as to the theme of the photo shoot:

"Pamela Anderson is in the Mansion swimming pool, posing for the January cover in a tribute to 'La Dolce Vita.'"

This is the 14th time on the Playboy cover for the former “Baywatch” babe – who is 43 right now. However, Anderson said last Friday on her website that the project this time will support a good cause.

“I’ve just shot another Playboy cover that will debut in January for Hef, at his request – I adore him. Playboy and I decided to do this, so I could donate earnings from the shoot to Waves for Water. It’s an amazing group that supplies water filters to countries that are in need of clean drinking water. It has already made a huge difference in Indonesia, Pakistan and Haiti. I’m so honored to work with Playboy again to support this life altering cause!”
