Lady Gaga reached a new mark today. And that’s thanks to her little monsters!

Reaching the 1 billion mark in YouTube, Lady Gaga has proven that she has more followers than Justin Bieber. And her little monsters surely worked hard for this.

Gaga addressed them with a tweet this morning:

"We reached 1 Billion views on youtube little monsters! If we stick together we can do anything. I dub u kings and queens of youtube! Unite!”

Indeed, Lady Gaga is sparking a number of social movements today. As Kathryn Wilson of Tonic.com describes Gaga’s feat:

…how fabulous is it that we're not watching some leaked John Edwards sex tape or Delaware's Christine O'Donnell talk about how she dabbled in witchcraft? Instead, we're voting with a click of a mouse to say we're for Gaga, which in turn means we're for gay rights, healthy food options and the fight against AIDS.

And her ensembles being on the top list of most searched costumes for this Halloween, we’ll surely be seeing more of Lady Gaga this coming days.
