Anvil Publishing is releasing the latest edition of Dr. Jonathan C. Malicsi’s ELP (English Language Project) English Manual.

The manual is a detailed handbook on the English language, divided into five sections (Lexicon, The Core Constituents, Syntactic Rules, Text Graphics, and Phonetics) for easy learning. It provides students with a reference for the forms and rules of current international English that is acceptable in the professional world.

Malicsi teaches at the University of the Philippines where he has served as head of the UP President’s Committee on Culture and the Arts (1982-1999) and the Department of Linguistics (1976-1979, 2002-2003). He has also headed the English Linguistics Project at the U.P. Department of Linguistics since 1999. He gives workshops to teachers and students on the use of his two books.
