LOS ANGELES (AP) – Representatives from the NBA and the players' association have completed a meeting to discuss a new collective bargaining agreement.

The sides met for about two hours Friday. Neither group expected much progress since there were so many people at the session.

There has been no movement toward a deal to replace the one that expires June 30 since last year, when players rejected the owners' original proposal that included calls for significant changes to the salary structure at a meeting during the All-Star weekend.

Just as at that meeting in Dallas, the players' negotiating committee was joined by a number of All-Star players. LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire were among those who attended Friday.
