DepEd resets NAT for Grade 6 to March 14

MANILA, Philippines —  Education Secretary Armin Luistro announced Friday that the administration of the 2010-2011 National Achievement Test (NAT) for Grade Six has been rescheduled “due to delivery related concerns.”

The NAT, which is administered by the Department of Education (DepEd) through the National Education Testing and Research Center (NETRC), was originally scheduled on March 4, 2011 as per DepEd Order No. 26, s. 2010 but was moved to March 14.

“It will be administered to all Grade 6 pupils both from public and private elementary schools nationwide,” Luistro said through DepEd Memo No. 49, s. 2011 which was issued to all undersecretaries, assistant secretaries, regional/bureau/center/service directors, schools division/city superintendents, division testing coordinators, district supervisors, and heads of public and private elementary schools.
