MANILA, Philippines — A businesswoman lost P390,000 in cash and her sedan to armed carjackers while she was driving in Quezon City Sunday night.

Investigator PO1 James Castro identified the victim as Nancy Gumafelix, 29, a resident of Sta., Maria Bulacan.

Gumafelix told police that she was driving along E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue when she was blocked by carjackers. She said the carjackers took off with her silver Chevrolet Optra. (Jeffrey G. Damicog)
