MANILA, Philippines — Another on-line lottery aficionado in Cainta, Rizal realized his dream Monday of becoming instant millionaire, winning P23,585,160.60 in Mega Lotto 6/45's draw of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

The Cainta bettor is Mega Lotto's 19th jackpot winner from January 1 to March 21, 2011, with a total of 30 winners for the year from the Grand Lotto 6/55, Super Lotto 6/49, Mega Lotto, and Lotto 6/42.

PCSO General Manager Jose Ferdinand M. Rojas II said the patrons of PCSO's lotto games and of its other products are not only helping sick indigent Filipinos, they are also giving them the chance to escape poverty.

Rojas, PCSO spokesman and concurrent manager of the Publicity and Public Relations Department (PCSO-PPRD), said that for every one peso bet in PCSO's lotteries 55 centavos go the Prize Fund, 30 centavos to the Charity Fund, and 15 centavos for agency's Operating Fund.

This developed as PCSO Chairperson Margarita P. Juico on Sunday lauded the parents and the over 100 young graduates of eight day-care centers being operated by the Foundation of Our Lady of Peace Mission, Inc. for their determination to fight poverty through education.

Juico was a guest at the 15th commencement exercise of the day-care centers held at the foundation's compound in San Dionisio, Parañaque City.

The young graduates are mostly street children in Zambales (children of Aeta families), Tondo and Sta. Ana, Manila, and other areas.
