DIPOLOG CITY, Philippines (PIA) – This city will be one of the venues for the conduct of the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI’s) nationwide Small, Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Negosyo seminar starting this month.

The SME Negosyo seminar aims to improve the access of SMEs to government and private sector services particularly to areas where the provision of business development services may be limited.

It is likewise meant to increase awareness of SMEs on various business development services provided by the government and private sector entities.

Experts in various fields of business enterprise will be brought to the regions to act as resource persons and consultants during these series of seminars.

A full range of topics on conducting business will be tackled such as access to markets and finance, franchising business ethics, product development/product design, e-Marketing, creative selling techniques, product costing and pricing, free trade agreements, export procedures, and business plan preparation, among others.
