MANILA, Philippines -- Police rescued 42 sex workers, including a 17-year-old girl, when they raided a night club in Angeles City in Pampanga which also resulted in the arrest of five people, three of whom were foreign clients.

Chief Supt. Samuel Pagdilao, Jr., director of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), said the operation on the Sweet Girl Honey Pot night club on Thursday night stemmed from the complaint of a woman who claimed that her niece was being forced to have sex with customers for P1,500.

“The 17-year-old victim later told our investigators that she was forcibly being held by the floor manager because of the debt she has incurred from availing the club’s uniform for its women workers,” said Pagdilao.
