MANILA, Philippines -- The Cavite Police Provincial Office (CPPO) has renewed and intensified its anti-criminality drive following the reported series of robbery and carnapping incidents in the area.

Officer-In-Charge Senior Superintendent John C. Bulalacao has ordered a round-the clock mobile patrol and daytime and nighttime checkpoints to get rid of the criminals and their activities particularly in Dasmariñas City, Bacoor and other crowded areas in the lowland and upland areas of the province.

Bulalacao made the move after a Western Union Money Transfer branch office in Barangay San Antonio de Padua II, Dasmariñas, was robbed of P1.2 million cash by two men in a daring holdup last Saturday morning.

The heist was made after the two armed men held security guard Francis M. Gelotin and Customers Service Representative Charish D.M. Sisante inside the office comfort room
