CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines – Executives of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and this city will lead the Connectivity Launching and Close-Out Ceremony of the city’s Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) at the City Hall on Thursday here.

Big business leaders in the city and the region are also expected to grace the occasion. In a statement released by the City Information Office (CIO), it said the two events will be presented by Alid Camara, chief of party, and Danielle Miller, deputy chief of party of the USAID Philippines.

During the events, City Mayor Vicente Y. Emano will deliver his message while Ruben A. Vegafria, president of Promote CDO Foundation, will welcome the guests and other dignitaries.

The CIO said the establishment of the one-stop business permit processing center is part of the component package under the USAID-funded Local Implementation of National Competitiveness for Economic Growth (LINC-EG Project), in partnership with Promote Cagayan de Oro and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Misamis Oriental.
