SAN FERNANDO CITY, Pampanga — Governor Lilia Pineda ordered Friday the immediate construction and repair of all public school facilities in this province for which a total budget of P82 million has been released.

Pineda and Provincial Board members unanimously approved the budget earlier this week, giving priority to necessary construction work on dilapidated school buildings that are vulnerable to heavy rains and storms.

Pineda said P42 million of the budget allocation is for building additional classrooms while P40 million is intended for structural repairs.

Aside from the repair of the classroom and construction of additional school rooms, the governor also ordered the construction of two comfort rooms for each school to ensure sanitation and the health of students and teachers.
