TACLOBAN CITY, Leyte (PIA) — Public transport drivers in Eastern Visayas will be receiving the fuel assistance cards distributed under the Public Transport Assistance Program of the Department of Energy.

Some 1,439 fuel assistance cards known also as Pantawid Pasada cards were turned over by Engr. Antonio Labios, Department of Energy Director for Visayas, and Zenaida Monsada, DOE Director for Oil Industry Management Bureau, to regional director Camilo Guarin of the Land Transportation Office (LTO).

The LTO and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) in the region are the agencies designated in the direct distribution of the fuel assistance cards.
