TACLOBAN CITY, Leyte, Philippines — Residents of this city will mark the 122nd Feast of Senior Sto.Niño de Tacloban, the Patron Saint of Leyte Thursday, June 30 with various socio-religious activities lined up for the celebration.

Bishop Leonardo Medroso of the Diocese of Tagbilaran City in Bohol is this year's main celebrant of the city fiesta’s Pontifical Concelebrated Mass.

A native of Ormoc City, Medroso was parish priest of the Sto.Niño Parish before he was designated Bishop of Borongan in Eastern Samar and later transferred to Tagbilaran City in Bohol.

He also served various parishes in the Archdiocese of Palo.
