MANILA, Philippines — An official of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) supports the ban on Filipino maids imposed by Saudi Arabia.

Fr. Edwin Corros, executive secretary of the CBCP’s Episcopal Commission on Migrants and Itinerant People, said the ban prevents possible abuses against household service workers (HSWs).

But Corros expressed concern for Filipinos who rely on their employment in Saudi.

Fr. Edwin, tell us frankly, can you do something about your support to that ban or you will just answer to us "Let Pnoy think and give these ban people jobs here back home?" let us be aware that if you pasture the herd there must be greens in that land... what do you think?

Why dont you create something that could create jobs for people back home out of the donations people give every single mass so that you can also help the government in cutting down unemployment, instead of criticizing the government of how much it could offer for all of us.

As a catholic eversince...., I never came accross the religious teachings of the Church that "Jesus" ever criticized nor blamed anyone... where do you realy stand?
