Zambo programs
ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) district office here will start the implementation of some P40 million worth of various infrastructure projects all over the city.
DPWH District Engineer Merham Acas said the projects will start early next month, and will be funded by the office of Rep. Ma. Isabel Climaco (1st District, Zamboanga City) and Rep. Erico Basilio Fabian (2nd district, Zamboanga City).
Acas said the project consists of the usual farm-to-market roads, multi-purpose hall, improvement of school buildings, improvement of drainage system, concreting of village roads, and covered courts.
He said the farm-to-market roads, when completed, will provide an easy access to farmers in bringing their farm produce to the local market here.
While people who are not engaged in farming will now have an easy and smooth travel to their destinations using the road.
