SUBIC BAY FREEPORT, Philippines — The Church Labor Conference (CLC) recently held a Caravan for Decent Work and Humane Working Conditions on Sunday from Quezon City to here.

In a press statement made by the group, CLC Social Action Chairman and Manila Auxiliary Bishop Broderick Pabillo said that “the primary capital to be safeguarded and valued is man, the human person in his or her integrity.”

When blocked by a team of police officers, led by Inspector Jose Arca, Pabillos said they were not holding a protest rally but only a “motorcade.”
