Espino lauds Aquino's partnership campaign

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Philippines — Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr. affirmed Monday his full support for President Benigno S. Aquino III’s leadership as he commended the Chief Executive for his “Pilipinas Natin: Asenso Para sa Lahat” partnership campaign.

Espino, who attended the launching of the Aquino administration’s new partnership program last June 30 at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City, said Pangasinan had the biggest delegation among local government units invited to the program.

The governor came with a delegation composed of some members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, department heads, chiefs of hospitals, local government officials and members of youth groups totaling over 300.

Espino praised the President’s vision to reawaken the sense of moral values of the people reaffirms an honest-to-goodness commitment to organize and widely share rapid expansion of the government through a leadership scheme which is dedicated to mobilize the people using their skills in harnessing the country’s natural resources.

Pilipinas Natin program is a campaign for partnership between the government and the Filipino people irrespective of their political affiliations for the sake of national progress.

The program can bring together a unified effort between the government and the people to bring the country into greater heights of progress stressing that shared responsibility plays a crucial role towards development, said Espino.

More than 8,000 youth leaders and multi-sectoral volunteers were among the spectators inside the Philsports arena and thousands of other enthusiastic crowd gathered at the grandstand of the sports complex to witness the event.
