Ynares pushes Rizal's disaster readiness
ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal, Philippines — Governor Casimiro “Jun-jun” Ynares, III encouraged his constituents Thursday to get involved in various disaster preparedness programs launched by the Capitol for the duration of the Disaster Consciousness Month this July.
Among the activities lined up are a tree-planting activity in Sitio Kaysakat in Antipolo City; clearing of esteros and waterways in Tanay; public hearings on the prohibition of plastic bags in markets and malls in Cainta; first aid and emergency preparedness seminar in San Mateo; installation of indigenous materials for flashfloods and adopt a river program in Teresa;
Disaster preparedness plan for vulnerable families in Cardona; workshops on disaster awareness in Binangonan; desilting of Sakayin River and barangay personnel rescue training in Morong; and sustained dredging of Angono River, cutting of grasses and declogging of water ways in Angono.
