Lovi not worried about Marian; Sam pays tribute to AJ

MANILA, Philippines – Lovi Poe is not worried that her “Temptation Island” co-star Marian Rivera will react negatively on her forthcoming team up with the latter’s boyfriend, Dingdong Dantes.
“Ay, hindi naman,” Poe said in an interview posted on PEP, Aug. 4. “Magkaibigan kami. At parang ate ko na siya. So, wala.”
She added, “Alam naman niya 'yon in the first place na trabaho lang.
"Hindi naman siya 'yong type na magri-react kaagad. At saka wala naman sa kanya 'yon, e. Siguro kahit sino [na makatrabaho ni Dingdong]. Hindi naman siguro totoo 'yong nang-aaway siya ng nakakapareha ni Dingdong," she opined.
Poe and Dantes will be starring in an upcoming movie titled “Aswang.”
The actress described Dantes’ character in the movie as “nakakatuwa” and “very bad boy pero makarisma,” and the story of their movie as “very cute.”
Meanwhile, Sam Concepcion wants to honor his friend, the late actor AJ Perez, through his role in “Way Back Home”—which was originally to be played by the latter.
“Actually, ang name ko po sa movie ay AJ din as a tribute to him,” Concepcion told PEP in a separate interview also posted on Aug. 4.
Describing Perez as “hardworking,” Concepcion said that the late actor was able to do “kahit ano that he sets his mind to.”
“Siyempre, ibinigay ko rin lahat ‘yung kaya kong gawin kung paano niya [AJ Perez] sana gagawin itong project na ito.
The actor-singer also promised to "do my best to make him proud, in a way, and siyempre not to let him down and his family down."
Concepcion shares acting credits in “Way Back Home” with fellow young actors Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Montes and Enrique Gil.
