SAN FERNANDO CITY, Pampanga, Philippines — The new Provincial Library, featuring state-of-the art technology, is now up and running in this city.

Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jesse M. Robredo joined Governor Lilia G. Pineda in ceremonies launching the province’s new E-Library last Thursday.

The E-Library, designed to facilitate faster access to information through computerized systems, houses the Pisces Library Automation System or the E-Library Hub Program which addresses the research demands of all levels of the education sector.

Initially, 10 units of the latest personal computers installed on the second floor of the provincial library are already operational and even testedby Robredo and Pineda.
