Police reshuffle
TAYTAY, Rizal, Philippines – A minor reshuffle in the Rizal Police Provincial Office (PPO) based in this town will be carried out to improve Taytay’s crime statistics.
This will happen if the newly installed officer in charge of Binangonan and Tanay Police Stations will strictly follow the guidelines on the implementation of plans and programs of the PPO in line with the programs of the Philippine National Police (PNP) regional and national headquarters.
Earlier, PPO director, Senior Supt. Manuel Cesar Prieto installed erstwhile PPO Police Community Relations Branch head, Supt. Felipe Abigan, officially assumed as the new chief of police of Tanay, replacing Chief Inspector Rizaldy Aquino.
Aquino, a resident of Antipolo City, is back from his previous position, which is the deputy chief of the Antipolo Police Station. During his stint as Tanay Police Station’s chief, Aquino earned respect of the local officials for implementing reforms in the police force that made the town one the most peaceful in the province.
