More projects

JABONGA, Philippines – Thousands of villagers in the coastal and lake areas benefited from the completed government projects in this town.

It was learned that more national, provincial, and municipal anti-poverty alleviation projects are set to be established under the Lake Mainit Development Program.

Among the completed projects include the P700,000 day-care center at Sitio Coro in Barangay Colorado, the P700,000 road concreting in Barangay Sto. Niño, The P1.3 million two-classroom school building in Barangay Magdagooc, the P700,000 day-care center in Barangay San Jose, and the P1.8 million multi-purpose building in Barangay San Vicente.

Jabonga Mayor Glicerio M. Monton Jr. said these completed projects were the sub-projects of the Kalahi-Maka-masang Tugon “Hipaglambot 2” implemented by the Department of Social Welfare and Development in the Caraga Region, where the local government of here also contributed its counterpart funding.
