PRO3 gets P102-M salaries budget
CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — Chief Superintendent Edgardo T. Ladao, Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director, disclosed Tuesday that his command received the biggest budget among regions, to cover the salaries of its new policemen.
Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Florencio Abad allotted recently about P102 million to the PRO3. It is the highest budget for salaries of new recruits of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Earlier, Abad allocated P1.03 billion to the PNP for its 6,451 newly hired uniformed personnel nationwide. A total of 641 of these were added to the security force of Central Luzon.
The region acquired the biggest distribution of policemen followed by Region 4-A with 552, Region 7 with 524, Region 6 with 479, and Region 8 with 397.
