SILAY CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines (PIA) — The Negros Youth for the Environment (NYE) together with the Silay City government will hold “Outbound Patag DOS” starting Thursday, October 2 until October 23 at Brgy. Patag in Silay City.

The event provides young environmentalists a chance to conduct a clean-up drive in various tourist spots in the area, enhancing consciousness in environmental protection and conservation and establishing linkages with various local environmental organizations.

The four-day activity includes a trek to and clean-up activity in Tinagong Dagat, Sulfatara and Pulang Tubig.

The participants will also be participating in a seminar about environmental protection and conservation. Also included in the event will be commitment building towards environmental protection and conservation.
