BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — A total of 150 individuals in this city availed themselves of free computer literacy training under the auspices of the National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) here recently.

The batch of mostly government office and private firm workers – along with a 69-year-old retiree and a 15-year-old student – took the technical training course which ran from October 25-29, said NIIT-Baguio Administrator Vladimir Cayabas.

The training was part of the NIIT’s corporate social responsibility program and will be repeated on December 19-23.
