MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) on Tuesday said it has ‘uncovered’ and ‘neutralized’ a syndicate that ripped-off a private firm’s multi-million peso premium payment.

In a statement, Dr. Eduardo Banzon, Philheath president and CEO said they have asked the National Bureau of Investigation and the anti-money laundering council to the complete the investigation toward filing the appropriate criminal charges to the persons allegedly involved in the syndicate.
