MANILA, Philippines — Four persons were injured after a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) rammed into a truck on Epifanio de los Santos Ave. (EDSA), Quezon City before dawn Wednesday.

Initial investigation showed that the incident happened at around 2 a.m. at the northbound lane of EDSA near Corinthian Gardens.

Before the incident, Allan Eco, one of the passengers of the truck, told traffic investigators that he saw the black SUV swerving from side to side.

In just a split second instead of swerving, the SUV went straight toward the back of the truck.

As a result, four of Eco's co-workers were injured. Most of them suffered bruises and bumps because of the accident. He however, was lucky enough to jump off the back of the truck, as the SUV was headed toward their directions, thus, he walked away from accident unscathed.

The driver of the SUV, refused to give any statement about the accident and instead merely locked himself inside the said vehicle.
