IBA, Zambales, Philippines — Residents of Zambales would no longer need to travel to Manila or other provinces just to avail of CT-scan, X-ray or ultrasound imaging now that they can avail of such services at the provincial hospital here.

Gov. Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. said some P50 million worth of medical equipment were delivered at the President Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital here on Tuesday, thus enabling the provincial government to offer services at lower costs and at a place more convenient to local patients.

The equipment, which include a computed tomography (CT) scan machine, an ultrasound imager, and an X-ray system, were delivered by the Ebdane administration barely two months after it turned over four new ambulances to government hospitals in Zambales.
