CAMP GEN. PANTALEON GARCIA, Cavite, Philippines — Rank promotion pins will be conferred on 126 uniformed policemen during a simple ceremony set Friday at this headquarters of the Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO).

Chief Inspector Benin Aspiras, head of PPO Human Resource Development Board, said the traditional mass pinning of ranks from Police Officer 2 (equivalent to private first class before) and Senior Police Officer 4 (master sergeant) is set at 3 p.m. with PPO officials leading the event.

The pinning ceremonies are being done at least once a year to inspire policemen, particularly the young ones, to strive further in their career and endeavors. Expected to attend the event are the families and friends of pin recipients.

Aspiras, the administration branch officer, said that the PPO has now a total strength of 1,558 police officers and men designated at the camp and police stations in the province's four cities and 19 towns with the additional 98 recruits which underwent examination and initial training at Camp Vicente Lim in Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna.

Meawhile, at least four more wanted persons were arrested by police operatives with the four-day implementation of "Oplan Trojan War" in Cavite's upland and lowland districts.
