MANILA, Philippines — Five jails under the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP)- National Capital Region (NCR) have received a wheelchair each as part of the celebration of the 9th anniversary of the BJMP Misyon Aksyon Ngayon program, hosted and produced by Ben Figura.

The BJMP Misyon Aksyon Ngayon is a weekly radio program that tackles issues and concerns about BJMP.

“I give away equipment for inmates to use in their livelihood projects while they are in jail and I do it yearly. BJMP Misyon Aksyon Ngayon Program wants to share its blessings to the jail bureau. This is the program’s support to the J.A.I.L.S. First program of BJMP under Director Dial,” said Figura. (Czarina Nicole O. Ong)

The Navotas Anti-Drug Drug Abuse Council (NADAC) has launched the “Navotas Sports Camp” which offered various sports clinic to help support athletes and sports enthusiasts in the city with talents and skills.

The Navotas Sports Camp was launched last year by Mayor John Rey Tiangco to “support Navoteños youths in their interest in sports not only during summer.”

“Through this program, we hope this will instill healthy lifestyle and camaraderie among our youths and produce world-class athletes in the future,” Tiangco said.
