Pasig fire destroys P400,000 in property
An estimated P400,000 worth of property was destroyed in a fire in a two-story apartment in Pasig City Wednesday.
Fire Chief Inspector Roy Quisto, Fire Marshal of the Pasig Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), said that the fire started at 9:55 a.m. in Ciudad Del Mejia Village, Barangay Rosario, Pasig.
Initial investigation showed that the fire started from a unit occupied by a certain Marichu Caneda.
The apartment building is owned by a certain Valentina Dulay.
The fire reached the first alarm during its peak.
At around 10:15 a.m., the fire was already under control and was eventually put out at 10:26 am.
Quisto said that they are still determining the cause of the fire.
No one was hurt or killed in the fire. (Rizal S. Obanil)
