Two Filipino fashion designers made their presence felt on the red carpet of the recent 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

Oliver Tolentino, a Hollywood-based Pinoy couturier, created a royal blue embroidered ensemble for “The Big Bang Theory” actress Mayim Bialik, who was nominated for the third consecutive year as Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series category.

It was the second collaboration for the two as Oliver also designed Mayim’s emerald green mermaid gown in last year’s Emmys.

“Oliver just works with everything. I don’t wear strapless, I don’t wear sleeveless, nothing was a problem for him,” the conservative actress was quoted in a report by ABS-CBN Hollywood correspondent Yong Chavez.

Earlier, Mayim shared, via the Jewish parenting site, how Oliver “saved the day” for her, referring to “a major change of plans” concerning her dress in that the designer had swung “into action at the last minute.”

Oliver, for his part, tweeted how “honored” he is working with Mayim.

Meanwhile, Mayim’s “The Big Bang Theory” co-star Kaley Cuoco walked down the red carpet in a gorgeous Monique Lhuillier number; a red backless dress with pink embroidered pattern, which matched her pixie cut.

The Huffington Post wrote: “Although she wasn’t nominated for an Emmy, Cuoco-Sweeting still stunned in a fitted, peplum bodice with a layered tulle skirt. She downplayed the boldness of her neon nails and clutch with soft makeup and minimal jewelry.”
