No one knows world's end
ILOILO CITY, Iloilo, Philippines (PNA) — Only God knows when the world will end, says Fr. Espiridion “Boy” Celiz, parish priest of Mandurriao in Iloilo City in response to latest predictions made by local Christian radio host Harold Camping that the end of the world will occur on Saturday, May 21.
“So many predictions have been made regarding Judgment Day but it seems that none of these have come true,” says Celiz. “This simply indicates that God is above everything and nobody could really predict when the world will end.” He said, instead of panicking, Christians should strengthen their trust in God through prayers and attending masses so that “everyone is prepared if Judgement Day takes place at any time.”
