Facial Care’s Fab 30th Bash

Looking more beautiful than ever, Dawn Zulueta-Lagdameo wows the guests in her sparkly golden number.

Prizes such as a Chanel Bag, 10 Philippe Charriol bracelets, balloons that dropped from the ceiling 30 of which contained gift certificates worth Php15,000 each from Facial Care Centre-- these made the Facial Care Centre’s 30th anniversary party the buzz in recent months.

The Conservatory at Peninsula Manila was the venue for a celebration of beauty, quality, and business longevity. De Capo Strings serenaded the crowd that night. Hunky Marc Nelson hosted the program by introducing Facial Care’s video presentation, which featured its beautiful endorsers and its newest non-invasive breakthrough treatments. Mr. George Siy, the president of this business leader in skin care, gave a toast as he and his partner, Mr. Peter Prestidge entertained the guests.

After Mr. Siy’s speech, silver and green balloons started falling from the ceiling; 30 lucky balloons contained Php15,000 worth of Facial Care Centre gift certificates. To say that the crowd was ecstatic is an understatement. The Company, a Filipino musical favorite, performed its all time greatest hits. Celebrity photographer and personal friend Raymund Isaac was thanked by Mr. Peter Prestidge for being Facial Care’s trusted photographer who had done projects for the company for years. This time, he photographs a bevy of beauties like Cherie Gil, Shalani Soledad Romulo, Agot Isidro, Dawn Zulueta, Delamar, who all grace the newest calendar of Facial Care.

The next raffle was for 10 luxurious Philippe Charriol bracelets for 10 lucky guests. By this time, the crowd was beginning to be amazed at Facial Care for pulling out all the stops for its 30th anniversary. Paolo Ledesma serenaded the beauties with tunes like "The Way You Look Tonight," by Michael Buble and "Isn’t She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder. The beauties of Facial Care were ushered to the stage. After which, they were gifted with marvelous green quarts earrings by jeweler Jul Dizon. 

Dawn Zulueta, who graces the billboards and most of the ads of Facial Care, expressed how proud she is for being an FCC beauty, “I’m very proud to be part of the Facial Care Centre family because it is quite a milestone to reach 30 years the way you all have. I think you’re the only establishment that’s actually been around this long. So congratulations to Facial Care Centre, thank you for having me in your family!” Timeless beauties Cherie Gil and actress-singer Agot Isidro shared their thanks and love as well. Right after, blogger, bestie and style guru Jenni Epperson, was given a special gift for being a guest in the calendar. That photo of hers by Raymund accentuates her cheekbones and truly took my breath away!

Before the program came to a close, Preview Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Pauline Suaco-Juan was awarded Facial Care Centre Beauty of the Night. Of course, everyone was still awaiting the final raffle prize. And it did not disappoint. Mr. Prestidge did the honors of drawing out the lucky winner of a timeless Chanel bag. Manila Bulletin’s Entertainment Editor, Crispina Belen, was not able to contain her joy as she was presented her luxurious prize. Facial Care has done it again. Throwing a truly fabulous party that guests will never, ever forget.

The program ended with zip dancers busting out moves on the dance floor, signaling that the after party has begun.
