DHL, the world’s leading logistics company, has named Sean Wall as the new Senior Vice President of Network Operations and Aviation, DHL Express, Asia Pacific.
In addition, Mr. Wall will join the DHL Express Asia Pacific Management Board.
Based in Singapore, Mr. Wall will oversee DHL’s extensive aviation network across 40 countries and territories, four main hubs in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore, and over 70 gateways in Asia Pacific.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Wall was the Deputy Managing Director of DHL-Sinotrans International Air Courier Ltd. In that capacity, Mr. Wall played an instrumental role in the overall management and development of DHL Express in mainland China. Last year, DHL opened its biggest express hub in Asia – the US$175 million DHL Express North Asia Hub at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
A veteran business leader with more than 25 years of experience in the logistics industry, Mr. Wall began his career with DHL Express in the UK in 1986. Since then, Mr Wall has held several management positions throughout DHL Express including Country General Manager of DHL Express in the Sultanate of Oman in 1995, National Operations Director of DHL Express Indonesia in 2000, National Operations Director of DHL Express in China in 2003, Deputy Managing Director of DHL Express in China in 2005, and Vice President, Ground and Gateway Operations for Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets in 2009.

I have been in Asia for more than a decade and I have personally seen Asia’s contributions to DHL grow significantly during this period. My most immediate priority is to ensure we continue to enhance our existing air network infrastructure to cater to the burgeoning needs of this region,” said Mr. Wall.
Mr. Wall will report to Jerry Hsu, CEO, DHL Express Asia Pacific, and Charlie Dobbie, Executive Vice President, Global Network Operations, DHL Express.
Mr. Wall holds a double postgraduate degree in business management from Manchester University, UK, and Ashridge Management College (City University, London, UK).
