Puregold sets sari-sari convention May 21-25
Retail giant Puregold Price Club will gather over 300,000 member retailers, mostly sari sari store owners, to update their skills and learn new trends in retail business as the Lucio-owned firm seeks to further cement its partnership with retailers in light of stiff market competition.
Ferdinand Vincent Co, national merchandising director of Puregold, said the event is the annual Tindahan ni Aling Puring (TNAP) Sari-Sari Store Convention, which is now on its 11th year, will be held on May 21 to 25 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
The five-day convention will bring together over 300,000 members of Puregold’s Tindahan ni Aling Puring program, mostly grocery and sari-sari store owners, carinderia and restaurant operators, resellers and bulk buyers.
Co said this year’s theme –“Level-AP! E-Level AP and Asenso at Panalo” – emphasizes the retail chain’s continuing commitment to help SMEs boost their income by taking their small businesses to the next level.
“Our focus this year is to help Aling Puring members, whom we consider as our business partners, reach new levels of success,” Co said. “We want them to grow their businesses to become more successful and profitable.”
The convention will coincide with the launching of the new and improved Tindahan ni Aling Puring membership card that opens up a range of highly-exclusive benefits for its members such as easier structure to earn points through their purchases and an enhanced redemption system of fabulous freebies and prizes, plus other exciting features and rewards.
Another highlight of the convention is free training and seminars by no less than professional business motivational speakers and respected entrepreneurs like Chinkee Tan, Francis Kong, Randell Tiongson, RJ Ledesma and Anton Diaz.
