Catarman, Northern Samar, (PNA) — The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) will conduct its BSP Economic and Financial Learning Program (BSP-EFLP) in Northern Samar province on September 17-20. BSP Director Antonio B. Cintura said the program brings together the outreach and educational activities of the BSP under one flagship program which aims to promote greater awareness and understanding of essential economic and financial issues, helping the public acquire knowledge and develop skills for well-informed economic and financial decisions. Tacloban City, Leyte (PNA) — Activities for the elderly facilitated by the Philippine Rehabilitation Medicine (PARM) – Eastern Visayas were conducted last Sunday to mark Grandparents Day. The activities included free therapeutic massage and the distribution of free samples of Elmore oil, vitamins Collagen (Genacol), and Calcium + Vitamin D (Calvit). There was also a forum held by Dr. Raymund Balverde on arthritis; a talk on osteoporosis by Dr. Liezel Calina; as well as on peripheral vascular disease by Dr. Rommel Bugho.
