In a major turn of events, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio ditched her plans to succeed her father President Duterte, and will now be running for vice president under the Lakas-CMD party, and as adopted by the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) of former senator and presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

And if that surprise was not enough, as of 5 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021, Senator Christopher “Bong” Go, the elder President’s trusted aide, has reportedly taken over the presidential candidacy of erstwhile Partido Demokratikong Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) bet Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa. Go was even accompanied by President Duterte at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) office. Full reports on these developments are to follow.
