DOH sounds alarm vs unknown respiratory virus

Domingo also said those who have acquired symptoms similar to regular influenza should prevent contact with others. Domingo said DOH will also tighten its quarantine measures, particularly in airports, following reports on an unidentified respiratory virus originating in Wuhan, China and spreading in Hongkong and other areas. In an interview with DZMM Monday, DOH Undersecretary Domingo said the Bureau of Quarantine is closely monitoring Filipinos and foreigners coming in the country, especially those flying in from China and Hongkong.
